Have a look inside Transalpino
As a 12-year-old football fan, Brendan Wyatt used to stand on the Kop looking around at what all the older kids were wearing. Fast forward more than 40 years, and the designer and fashion-focused businessman is dictating their look. “Never did I think kids would be wearing a brand that I had created,” he says. “I’d like to say it was a dream come true, but I wouldn’t have even dreamt it. I wouldn’t have dared to.” Brendan first established Liverpool menswear store, Transalpino, in 2006, bringing terrace culture to the city. Having developed a love for the trends he found while travelling the world with his team, he then decided to create and establish his own brand. Relaxed and casual daytime menswear with well-loved t-shirts, hoodies and trainers was key.

Winter Markets at Metquarter
An indoor Christmas market hosted at Metquarter during December featuring more than 50 fantastic local makers. The market is being put on by The Art Quarter, a collective of artists from Liverpool and Wirral based inside the centre. It showcases the work of dozens of creatives, not only those who usually sell through the shop, giving shoppers a chance to find unique gifts and to meet the people who made them. The first Art Quarter Market took place last Christmas and was such a success that they organised a second in the summer.
