Ghouls Out! Half Term Fun at Metquarter

Half term has descended upon us again and the kids are in need of some entertainment – but don’t fret, this is far from a horror story, we’ve got plenty of treats on offer at Metquarter to keep everyone happy and entertained 🎃🕸️

What’s Your Favourite Scary Movie? 😱

Halloween and scary movies go hand in hand, and this year is no exception. You’re bound to have seen the billboards for this year’s biggest jump-scare film ‘Smile’.

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.

Whether you’re a lover of horror films or you’re more likely to be found hiding behind your big box of popcorn, Smile is not one to be missed.

Book your tickets here.

Not-So-Scary Movies

This one is for the little ones 🍼 Baby Club at Everyman Cinema is a weekly screening event on Tuesday mornings that enables anyone with a child under 12 months to attend. New releases are shown with softened sound and dimmed lighting throughout for baby’s comfort – tickets even include a hot drink and a slice of cake – winner!

Extra child tickets can be purchased for additional children over the age of 12 months, be sure to check the venue website here for an up-to-date list of Baby Club screenings.

You Wanna Pizza Me?

If like us, you can’t get enough of Gerry’s Pizza at GPO Food Market, you’re in luck 🍀🤞 That’s because this half term, head chef and owner of Gerry’s Pizza, Paula, is hosting a pizza making masterclass for kids!

Paula will guide your little ones in the art of making pizza; from stretching the dough, adding the marinara, then finishing with toppings. Paula will cook the creations and your little ones can enjoy their own hand crafted pizza with some fries and a drink!.

The class takes place on Monday October 24th from 1pm – 2pm. Booking is essential and tickets cost £10 each. Book your space here.

Ghoul Provisions Outlet

The magic of dining with the family at GPO Food Market is that you can order from multiple kitchens within the same app – so if one of the kids wants burgers, the other wants chicken and you want dumplings, nobody has to compromise! GPO is also dog friendly so nobody has to miss out on the half term fun.

Make sure you leave room for dessert though, Dumb Dough have recently joined the GPO Food Market family and their range of artisan stuffed cookies are out of this world 🌍🚀

Walk-ins are welcome, however for busier periods we’d recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Book here.

Winter Is Coming

The cold weather is firmly setting in and it’s time to get the kids ready for winter – light jackets and plimsolls won’t do the trick, they’re going to need something much sturdier.

The Autumn/Winter range has landed at Kids Cavern and we’d fully recommend getting the kids down to browse the collections – expect to see a lot of puffer jackets, faux fur and cozy shoes 💖
