Ladies Day – Top Fashion Picks at Metquarter

It’s the date in the racing calendar when the racing actually takes the back seat. The concept of Ladies Day originated in Liverpool, which explains why us scouse girls do it best.

The iconic day is making a return in 2022 and it’s time to dress to impress. The Randox Grand National takes place from the 7th-9th April, with Ladies Day taking place on Friday 8th April. Metquarter is packed full of high-end boutiques and stores where you can pick out and even commission an outfit to wear to the epic day out.

Cricket

Versace, Mugler, Valentino & Louboutin. Just some of the names you can expect to find in Cricket. This luxury retailer is hugely respected within the fashion industry and can count Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, Coleen Rooney and Michelle Keegan as some of its fans. Justine Mills, owner of Cricket is a member of the British Fashion council and personally mentors her team, ensuring that her wealth of industry knowledge and expertise are always available whenever anyone visits the store.

Why not pay the team a visit to pick out your outfit or some killer heels. See more of their collections here.

Francesca Couture

Known for bespoke garments, Francesca Couture’s dresses are made to measure in its UK studio – so you can drink your prosecco in peace knowing that someone a few tables over won’t be wearing the same dress. With customers including Alesha Dixon and Michelle Keegan, you know the team is doing something right.

Bespoke garments have longer turnaround times than their ready-to-wear items so be sure to order in plenty of time. See more of Francesca’s creations here.

Fairytale Endings

Fairytale Endings specialise in show-stopping dresses and even have a selection of race-day-ready outfits for you to browse in store. And if that wasn’t enough, they also stock incredible accessories to complete your outfit, like Valentino bags.
