Dancers in a dance studio

The new site, which is situated over three floors, includes a collection of film and dance studios, music rehearsal rooms, classrooms and recording studios all with state-of-the-art facilities.

All courses are delivered by leading industry professionals including stars from stage and screen, such as The Bodyguard, Book of Mormon, Shrek and Fame the Musical, offering students an insight into what it takes to succeed and allowing tutors to pass on guidance to the next generation of stars.

A close-knit, nurturing community is at the core of LMA’s ethos, with the journey also including access to regular masterclasses from globally recognised experts and opportunities to network with industry professionals. Working on BBC Dramas, Netflix productions and even headlining a sold-out Hyde Park concert for 80,000 people with Robbie Williams, have all been commonplace for LMA students and graduates who use this industry experience to develop a career in the industry they love.

LMA is well and truly moving into a new chapter with it’s other campus open at Here East on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Co-founder Richard Wallace said: “We’ve been working for some time to find the perfect location in Liverpool city centre that would house our world class facilities for students and staff, and Metquarter is absolutely ideal for us.

“Metquarter also gives us the capacity to enhance the student experience even further to create a true creative centre of excellence in the heart of the city, so it’s an extremely exciting time as we look forward to our next chapter.”
