After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is still up to his old tricks. Training a detachment of graduates for a special assignment, Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past and his deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who choose to fly it.
The film is rated 12A so any children under 12 are welcome to see the film as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux.
Liverpool is coming alive with a brand new festival! Promising to be the most delicious weekend of the year, the ‘Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux’ festival takes place from the 2nd-5th June in line with the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
The streets surrounding Metquarter – Hope Street, Bold Street and Castle Street will come alive with immersive food and drink experiences, with local restaurateurs and producers showing off their world class food with tastings, demonstrations and classes. Not only that, some of Bordeaux’s top wine producers are descending on the city as part of the partnership with Vin de Bordeaux to showcase some of the region’s best wines – expect wine masterclasses and tastings!
There’ll also be a producer’s market, bars, live music and much more. The majority of the festival is free to attend, however each restaurant and bar will have their own prices for food and drink items. We’d also recommend booking for any tastings and masterclasses as we’re expecting this to be a busy weekend!
