If you’re scratching your head at what to do with the kids over half term, don’t fret – we’ve got the perfect workshop to keep the kids entertained.
GPO at Metquarter is hosting an epic LEGO Robotics Workshop alongside STEM Learning on Tuesday 26th October from 11am-12pm. During this session, children will be challenged with building and coding an actual LEGO robot, using the brand new LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Robot Set! The workshop is suitable for children, aged 6-11 years.
Working in pairs, they’ll be using motors, sensors and coding to bring their creation to life, whether it’s robot cars, games or even theme park rides! They’ll have lots of fun and will be learning valuable STEM skills which will be useful for when they’re back in the classroom.
As well as getting valuable hands-on experience with the new LEGO Robot sets, they’ll also receive a small LEGO keepsake to take away with them.
Booking is essential and tickets are £10 per child. Spaces are limited so be sure to drop the link in your group chats if you want their friends to join them too. You can book here.
Parents and care givers are free to come along and enjoy the food and drink from GPO whilst they wait or to use our co-working space whilst the children are hard at work. Take a look at our list of vendors here, or check out GPO’s Instagram for some serious foodie inspiration.
